Acla candles are inspired by my home, Achill Island in Co. Mayo, and by Ireland. Through the use of nostalgic scents that evoke sensory memories, my mission is to enable you to bring the scent of my home, home.
Each candles is hand-selected and designed by me on Achill Island on teh West Coast of Ireland and are all handmade in Ireland, ensuring that the finest craftsmanship, materials, and quality are being used in the making of each candle. By producing in Ireland I am ensuring that you are buying a truly Irish product that will also support other local businesses.
Achill Island is a Gaeltacht region and as a fluent Irish speaker it was important to mr yo honour this in my products. I have achieved this by naming them Acla Candles, which is derived from the Irish name for Achill - Oileán Acla
